Time Tracking with the TimeTell App
If you combine the Time Registration module with the TimeTell App, your employees can always and everywhere log their hours and activities. They can add extra text information to the recorded hours if desired. This immediate time tracking is easy, prevents mistakes, and saves time. In addition to tracking hours, it’s possible to log chronological (from/to) times. All this data is immediately updated in the TimeTell timesheet. As a manager, you also have the option to approve or reject timesheets via the app.
Leave & Sick Leave Registration via the app
In conjunction with the Leave & Sickness module, the app allows employees to request leave. This gives employees the freedom to submit a leave request quietly in the evening, for example. Managers can review and approve leave requests in the app, so employees know their status right away. Moreover, the app provides insight into the leave balance, making it clear how much leave can still be taken. When a leave request is approved, it is immediately visible in the timesheet.
Clocking in and out with the TimeTell App
With the TimeTell App, employees can clock in and out regardless of location. This is especially essential when your staff regularly works from home or at external locations; combining the Time & Attendance module with the app is a must. In the TimeTell reception screen, presence or absence can be displayed, along with the location of the registration, just as it would with a physical clocking system. This way, the organization knows who is where, for example, in case of emergencies.
Geofencing for clocking in and out
Geofencing allows employees to clock in and out only at permitted locations via the app. As an organization, you can set various locations, such as company offices, client offices, and home addresses. Of course, privacy is not compromised: when geofencing is enabled, the user’s location is not tracked permanently. Only at the moment of clocking in or out is the location checked.
External approval via the App
Since TimeTell version 9.4, it is possible to use the TimeTell External Approval module. This allows external parties to approve bookings and sign off on-site via the app, without needing extra licenses. The client only needs to provide a signature in the TimeTell App, and the time reporting is sorted. This feature is particularly useful when your employees perform tasks for external parties.
