Staff and shift scheduling
Strategic staff planning is essential for smooth operations in any organization. With TimeTell’s Planning module, you can manually assign staff to various shifts. The planner can use competency profiles linked to employees in TimeTell. This way, day, evening, and night shifts with recurring patterns can be created. Employees can then view their assigned shifts through the agenda option in the TimeTell App or web version.
Project planning software
The TimeTell Planning Module is also the ideal online tool for planning projects and activities. A project typically consists of several phases that are interrelated and dependent on each other. With TimeTell’s Planning Module, you can create project plans with graphical views of phases in the form of Gantt charts. Baselines, milestones, and dependencies with other projects or activities are also visible, as well as the current project status.
Resource allocation planning
TimeTell’s planning software makes resource allocation – the assignment and request of resources – simple. This ensures that there is enough staff for the projects. You can choose to first make a resource request from activities or projects or go directly to the Allocation Dashboard. The allocation planboard (see below) is an important part of the TimeTell planning process. From the allocation planboard, the TimeTell Calendar can be filled.
The allocation planboard
The allocation planboard provides a clear view of capacity demand and capacity supply (staff availability). Availability is based on leave and absence data, contract hours, schedules, and competencies, which can be stored in the master data in TimeTell. Based on this information, employees can be scheduled for weekly or daily shifts. Once the schedule is complete, it can be saved to the TimeTell Calendar and synchronized with the Outlook calendar.
Planning App for greater convenience
The Planning module and the TimeTell App are a convenient combination. By using the app, employees can access their schedules anytime and anywhere.
As a manager, you also have access to schedules and project planning at all times, allowing you to monitor progress and make adjustments if necessary.

Combining Planning Software with other TimeTell Modules
TimeTell offers several combinable software modules. Each module can also be used as a standalone product. You can add or modify new modules at any time.
Our main modules are Planning, and Time Registration.
Planning, as described, includes project & resource allocation planning and staff & shift scheduling. Time Registration is for recording hours worked.
